About Matthew Herring
Born and raised in Robeson County, Matthew has dedicated his entire healthcare career to serving the community he calls home. His deep local roots and commitment to patient care allow him to build strong, trusted relationships with the individuals and families he serves.
Matthew began his career as a registered nurse in 2000 after completing his Associate Degree in Nursing at Robeson Community College. He later earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fayetteville State University and went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at South University in 2018.
With over two decades of healthcare experience, he has worked across a variety of clinical settings in southeastern North Carolina, including primary care, community health programs, specialized services, and in-home care. This broad experience allows him to provide well-rounded, practical care tailored to each patient’s needs.
At CarePath Wellness, Matthew is part of a collaborative care model that partners closely with local pharmacies.
